BESPOKE ENERGY DISPLAY SCREENS

Bespoke Energy Display Screens

We have added; to our ‘DATA BIRD/ DYNAMAT Turn-key aM&T Systems and Services’, the provision of bespoke display screen technology which is dynamic; automatically and continuously changing as DATA BIRD reads the meters.

Screens can also be split into proportions with different messages in each section for example alternatively warning indications can be given when alarms are activated for example the Rolls Royce Demo where they have opted for a trafic light function to show whether they have beaten, achieved or exceeded their set consumption targets.

Our latest project is for East Midland Airport (EMA) and their screens will be completed in the next few weeks. EMA have just installed two wind turbines, one of the pages of their display screen will show the units of electricity the turbines are generating and the number of domestic houses that would supply each day.

Following The Dash For DEC’s

Monday, November 17th, 2008

Did you know? Buildings are responsible for almost 50% of the UK’s energy consumption and carbon emissions, Non dwellings alone are responsible for almost 20%.

Following the Dash for DEC’s all public buildings should have been assessed and a Display Energy Certificate issued by 1st October 2008 in reality most have had an assessment carried out and been issued with a “G” rating in order to comply with government deadlines.

If you are one of those in this situation the best form of action is to act early and engage the services of an energy assessor who can provide details of their membership number and suitable credentials in order to carry out an advisory report.

DYNAMATliteour new analytical software has a built in DEC’s module and is to become available shortly therefore saving you time and effort when it comes to providing the historic data required to produce a DEC. You can register your interest at www.energymeteringtechnology.com

If you are in doubt as to the implications and actions required to improve your rating and would like more information, EMT can help guide your initiatives and put you on the right track. Call us now on 01628 664056 or email enquiries@energymeteringtechnology.com

Fuelling The Future

Tuesday, October 21st, 2008

Are you worried about our future energy supplies? Experts suggest there is about 40 years of known oil reserves left in the world.

If our supply of oil was cut off we would only have 90 days of reserve supply left in Britain. Monitoring energy consumption and targeting areas to reduce your carbon footprint is now paramount to any size of business.

We have developed DYNAMATlite a new web based software designed for business’s to monitor and target carbon savings.

If you would like further information on this new developing software please complete the enquiry form.

The Dash for DEC’s

Tuesday, August 5th, 2008

Suddenly people are waking up to the realisation that the EC requires all public buildings (over 100 square metres) to show Display Energy Certificates (DEC’s) by October 1st this year. Non public buildings will come later.

There is still some confusion over the implementation of the initiative but the onus is on organisations to comply.

Energy Metering Technology is accredited to produce DEC’s and Advisory Reports. Moreover we are developing our Dynamat software to interface with government software to generate the certificates.

Contact us if you’d like to know how EMT can help you comply with this new regulation.

Why relaunch our website?

Tuesday, August 5th, 2008

Like most businesses we’ve had a website for a number of years but this represents a new beginning for us. Up till now, we have been a specialist company providing products and services for experienced energy managers in industry and the public sector. Much of our business has come word of mouth.

Now the industry for providing energy management products has become more sophisticated and new players have come into the market to try and take advantage of the huge interest in energy driven by recent price hikes. People are more interested than ever in Energy Metering Technology but they want to know more about us and want us to be more accessible.

We hope you’ll agree that the new website is a major step forward with new branding and a clear presentation of who we are and what our products and services can do for you and your organisation.

Please tell us what you think.
