Following The Dash For DEC’s
Monday, November 17th, 2008Did you know? Buildings are responsible for almost 50% of the UK’s energy consumption and carbon emissions, Non dwellings alone are responsible for almost 20%.
Following the Dash for DEC’s all public buildings should have been assessed and a Display Energy Certificate issued by 1st October 2008 in reality most have had an assessment carried out and been issued with a “G” rating in order to comply with government deadlines.
If you are one of those in this situation the best form of action is to act early and engage the services of an energy assessor who can provide details of their membership number and suitable credentials in order to carry out an advisory report.
